#DRYNETonTour : DRYNET participates in MCN Annual Membership Meeting
Since 2012 DRYNET is an active member of the Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland e. V. which hold its annual membership meeting in the beautiful Hanseatic City of Wismar last week. The MCN board provided insights into the past year’s achievements and updated the members on exciting ongoing projects, and a glimpse into future plans.
We are proud that our CEO, Holger Ritter, was reelected as a MCN board member with two thirds of the votes, and will volunteer as an assessor for the next two years. He will focus on innovation and digitalization, as well representing a strong membership perspective in the board.
Here is the actual MCN board with the newly elected:

We congratulate the newly elected board members and wish them every success in the upcoming projects and their new roles.
After the successful elections, everyone set off for a harbour tour. Despite the weather taking a turn with drizzle and thick clouds, it couldn’t dampen the spirits. We northern Germans are used to such weather, but even we had to concede defeat and take shelter below deck.
Following the harbor tour it was back to the venue for the networking area. All in all, it was a fantastic event with new contacts made, lively discussions on hot topics of maritime industry took place, and good vibes prevailed until the very end.
