Today, we are installing some Peplink devices for a maritime customer – like the Peplink HD1 Dome Pro, a cellular outdoor use router with 5G connection.
What’s particularly interesting in this arrangement is the Peplink SIM Injector. To those who have not had experience with it yet: It offers 8 additional SIM slots, making it a lot easier to change or deal with SIM cards without having to go to the Peplink Dome itself – very convenient when the unit has been installed somewhere not very accessible.
Peplink SIM Injector also provides power through ethernet (PoE) and allows for a single ethernet cable to be run to a distance of up to 100 meters without affecting performance.
