Peplink builds routers that use several internet connections at once: cellular, Starlink or VSAT, fibre, Wi-Fi as WAN. The technology behind it is SpeedFusion. It bonds links, fails over without dropping sessions and smooths packet loss so calls, video and remote access stay stable.
Peplink is our standard for hybrid connectivity. The hardware is rugged, managed centrally in InControl2 and scales from a vehicle router to a data-centre SD-WAN router. What the manufacturer does not deliver, we do: design, installation, configuration and operation.

Peplink or Pepwave?
Same manufacturer. Pepwave was the brand for mobile routers (MAX series), Peplink for Balance routers. Today everything is sold as Peplink. Older datasheets and housings still carry the Pepwave logo; technically nothing changes.
Frequently asked questions about Peplink
Which Peplink router suits a vessel?
For coastal and port operation a MAX HD1 Dome Pro 5G on deck is often enough. Once Starlink or VSAT is added, an indoor Balance or BR1 Pro bonds all links. We define this in the network design based on operating area, crew size and applications.
What does a Peplink setup cost?
It depends on model, licence term, antennas and installation effort. We quote on request and itemise hardware, licences, installation and, optionally, operation. Single devices are in our FunkRitter shop.
Do I need InControl2?
Not for a single device. With several sites or vessels, or when we run the network for you, yes: InControl2 provides monitoring, configuration push, firmware management and GPS tracking from one console. Access is included in PrimeCare and EssentialCare.
Can DRYNET take over an existing Peplink network?
Yes. We review configuration and licence status, document the current state and add the devices to our monitoring. Expired care plans are renewed so InControl2 and SpeedFusion work again.
How long does an onboard installation take?
A dome with SIM Injector can often be mounted and commissioned within one lay day if cable routes are clear; we confirm the effort in the network design. Complete onboard networks with Starlink, access points and segmentation take several days. Pre-configuration happens beforehand in Kiel.
Does Peplink work with Starlink?
Yes. Starlink connects to the Peplink router as a WAN link, usually in bypass mode. SpeedFusion combines it with 4G/5G and fails over seamlessly during obstructions or maintenance windows.
Which SIM cards do you use in Peplink routers?
For vessels and fleets our own M2SEA SIM with roaming in more than 50 countries; on land, carrier plans or multi-network SIMs. Peplink routers also support eSIM and the SIM Injector for eight more cards.
Do you rent Peplink equipment?
Yes, mainly the Peplink Dome including a data plan for yard periods, sites and events. Terms on request: Peplink Dome rental.
