Starlink terminal including a data plan. We source hardware and plan through our partner Tototheo; DRYNET commissions and integrates. For events, construction sites, film, shipyards and emergency services. Optionally with Peplink router and 5G failover.
Peplink Dome rental
Peplink MAX Dome with M2SEA SIM or 5G data plan for vessels in charter, refit or season, for offshore campaigns, ports and construction sites. Including mounting, configuration and monitoring.
SKYPACK 5G rental
Starlink, 5G router, battery and VPN in one hardcase. Set up, switch on, work, with no engineer and no mains power.

What sets DRYNET's rental fleet apart
Many providers rent a Starlink kit to campers. We rent connectivity to businesses. The difference comes down to four points:
- Hybrid instead of a single path: Starlink plus 4G/5G via Peplink SpeedFusion so that livestreams, VPN and payment keep running through an outage. See Hybrid Connectivity.
- Maritime experience: we install Domes on vessels and know how salt, vibration and steel affect connections.

Frequently asked questions about rental
What is the minimum rental period?
We rent for short deployments of a few days as well as for several months. The minimum depends on the device and is stated in the quote; weekend deployments and long-term rentals have their own terms, on request.
Is a deposit required?
Whether a deposit or another form of security is needed, and how much, is settled in the quote. For companies and public authorities, framework agreements are also possible.
Do you ship the equipment or do I have to collect it?
Both are possible: shipping within Germany, collection in Kiel (Marga-Faulstich-Strasse 5) or delivery with setup by our engineer. Costs and service radius on request.
What happens in case of defect, loss or damage?
In case of a technical defect we provide a replacement. How loss, theft and damage during the rental period are handled, and whether an insurance option is available, is set out in the rental agreement; you receive the details with the quote.
Do you rent to private individuals?
Our offer is aimed at companies, public authorities and organisations. All prices are net, plus VAT.
Is the data plan included?
Yes. Starlink terminals come including a matching data plan, Peplink Domes with an M2SEA SIM or 5G data plan. Which plan fits depends on the location: land, coast or open sea. DRYNET is not a Starlink reseller. We source Starlink hardware and service plans through our partner Tototheo; we advise on satellite communication, install and commission the terminals and integrate Starlink into your network. Availability of Starlink services is subject to the provider's terms for the respective area. Starlink is a trademark of SpaceX.
What are the data-protection rules for camera surveillance on a construction site?
Video surveillance is permitted where there is a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), such as protection against theft and vandalism. For publicly accessible areas, Section 4 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) applies in addition. Clearly visible signs stating the controller, purpose, contact and retention period must be in place before people enter the area; recordings must be kept short, with the supervisory authorities citing 72 hours as a guideline and longer periods only with justification. Public roads and neighbouring properties must not be captured. We provide the connection and fixed IP; the data-protection assessment lies with the camera operator.
Can I buy a rental unit later?
Yes, in many cases. Whether and how we credit rental payments is agreed case by case. New equipment is available from our B2B shop funkritter.de.
How quickly can you deliver?
That depends on stock and date. Tell us the deployment date and we tell you straight away what is possible; in the Kiel area usually at very short notice.
